Suzuki RM-Z

The Suzuki RM-Z is a race ready bike that introduces electronic fuel injection to four stroke motocross racing for the first time. The new Suzuki RM-Z comes in an all new package that features major changes in engine, chassis and suspension.

The new RM-Z has a 249cc, potent DOHC four stroke liquid cooled power- plant that is set to provide a giant killing performance through its lightweight and compact single cylinder engine.
There are a host of race bred features in the new Suzuki RM-Z. This includes the titanium valves and a 43mm throttle body that provides throttle linkage together with a battery less fuel pump. There is also the addition of an all new aluminum alloy cylinder with the ever popular SCEM cylinder coating.
The slick shifting five speed transmission and the right handlebar mounted hot starter are sure to be hits with the new kids on the block.
The Suzuki RM-Z also comes along with an updated chassis and suspension, a lightweight aluminum alloy frame and new swing arms with an all new center brace that increases rigidity. The showa suspension offers a new spring and damping rates both front and rear. There are 47mm inverted forks offering the best of wheel travel along with compression and rebound damping.
The all new Suzuki RM-Z gives you razor sharp handling from this pocket warrior and a stopping power that is equally impressive- courtesy the front and rear disc brakes that have wave rotors. These help in mud deflection and cooling performances.
If you still haven’t made up your mind, there are textured seats for better grip and aluminum handle bars with a pad that reduces vibrations. A new look, together with yellow and black plastic covers, are offset by black, white and red graphics.
All in all, the Suzuki RM-Z has an improved engine performance and chassis, together with improvements in the suspension. All these should be enough to keep it firmly at the head of the pack. Test drive, anybody?
